What should I bring to my surf lesson?

We take care of the rest: board and rash guard are included, plus good vibes and bad surfing jokes.

Is the surfboard included in the price?

Yes, of course – the board is always included.
 We match you with the right board for your level, and you get a rash guard as well. No hidden costs, no stress, just waves!

Are your lessons group lessons?

No. All sessions are private. We only teach individuals, couples or private groups. We do not mix different guests together.

Which surf levels do you teach?

Everyone’s welcome – total beginners, weekend surfers and advanced wave addicts.
We work on whatever you need: first pop-ups, green waves, timing, turns or reading the line-up. I also team up with very experienced local instructors, so you always get coaching that fits your level.

How long does a surf lesson last?

Most lessons are around 1–1.5 hours, depending on your level and the conditions.
Beginners spend a bit more time on land first (safety, basics, pop-up), and then roughly one hour in the water. For more experienced surfers, the land practice is shorter, so the whole session can be a bit shorter too.
If there are fewer waves or the ocean is a bit tricky that day, the lesson might run a little longer or shorter – the main goal is always the same: you should catch enough waves and leave the water stoked.

Yes, for sure. There is a very good surf photographer in Hiriketiya who we love working with – perfect for photos, videos and drone shots.

Yes, absolutely. We love teaching families and kids.
We keep it fun, safe and easy-going, so everyone gets waves and shares the stoke – parents, kids, friends, everyone is welcome.

Cancellation Policy

We kindly ask you to let us know at least 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule your lesson.​

We plan our surf days ahead of time. This includes organizing instructors, coordinating lesson times, and reserving spots specifically for you. When a lesson is cancelled at short notice, these reserved spots usually can’t be filled again.

For this reason, lessons cancelled less than 24 hours in advance will be charged.
